Auld Sweet Olive B&B, built in the 1850s, offers uniquely styled guest rooms, each featuring a tree-themed design. The Sweet Olive Room includes French doors to a private porch overlooking the tropical garden. It features a king-sized bed set against antique bricks and the mantle of an original fireplace. The Cypress Room offers a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom. The Palmetto Room, the smallest bedroom, includes a queen-sized bed and a bathroom with a European tub and hand-shower combo. The Oak/Magnolia Suite features two separate bedrooms: the Magnolia Room with blue-green walls adorned with magnolia blossoms and a bathroom with standing shower, and the Oak Room features oak antiques and a corner shower in the bathroom. The Courtyard Suite offers a king-sized bed, a full-sized Murphy bed, a kitchenette with stove, sink, and small refrigerator, and a bathroom with an oversized tub and walk-in shower. The Balcony Suite, accessible via a private courtyard spiral staircase features a queen bed and queen sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower; note this apartment is accessible via a 20 step spiral staircase. The Laura Suite features two separate bedrooms, a renovated kitchen, and a bathroom with a deep soaking tub and waterfall shower. All rooms include a private bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms feature private entrances.
Dining at Olive
A complimentary breakfast is served each morning, including homemade pastries, yogurt, fresh fruits, a savory egg dish, toast, locally made jams and spreads, cereal, a meat and cheese charcuterie, juice, coffee, and tea. Chef St Erik offers freelance Chef Services, providing one-of-a-kind culinary experiences. Chef Indigo offers soul cuisine, with plant-based and seafood options.
Pool and Socializing
Guests can socialize in the parlour or piece together puzzles. The common courtyard and front porch offer spaces to sip coffee or wine and read a book from the library. The property features a year-round cooled/heated pool and jacuzzi with a tanning ledge and circumferential seating, a shaded pergola area with seating for 12 and fire table, deck chairs for 10 and seating for 18, wood pellet grill, two-person hanging basket chair swing, outdoor hammock, outdoor private bathroom, and custom-built bar and coolers. The pool is 500 square feet.
