1896 O'Malley House has eight suites with special accommodations. Guests in the Consulate's Suite use the Inn Concierge app on an in-room iPad. Rooms include an iPad loaded with the Inn Concierge app, providing information about the city and the inn. The O'Malley Suite, located on the second floor, accommodates up to 2 guests. It features a King Size bed with custom linens, high thread count sheets, writing desk, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, original coal burning fireplace, guest robes, iron and ironing board, clock radio, central AC/Heat and high-speed wireless internet. This room features a private bathroom with granite countertops and a whirlpool tub/shower combo. The Tessitore Suite on the second floor accommodates up to 2 guests and features a Queen Size four post bed with custom linens, high thread count sheets, writing desk, flat screen TV/DVD, ceiling fan, original coal burning fire place, guest robes, iron and ironing board, clock radio, central AC/Heat and high speed wireless internet. This room features a private bathroom with granite countertops and a tub/shower combo. The McNeil Suite, located on the third floor, accommodates up to 3 guests and features a queen-size bed with day bed and trundle bed, writing desk, flat-screen TV/DVD, ceiling fan, guest robes, iron and ironing board, clock radio, high-speed wireless Internet, central AC/Heat and unique, original Pickled Cypress wooden walls. This room features a private bathroom with tub/shower combo. The Cooney Suite, located on the third floor, accommodates up to 3 guests and features a queen-size bed with day bed, writing desk, flat-screen TV/DVD, ceiling fan, guest robes, iron and ironing board, radio clock, high-speed wireless Internet, central AC/Heat and unique, original Pickled Cypress wooden walls. This room features a private bathroom (across the Hall) with tub/shower combo. Each room features a private bath. Most rooms have Jacuzzi tubs with showers and elegant granite counter tops. Suites feature free wireless DSL and free snacks. There is a $50.00 charge per person for more than two people in a room.

Mandina's Restaurant is within walking distance, offering Creole and Italian-inspired dishes since 1932. The menu features New Orleans seafood, Italian pasta, and Southern comfort food. Fan favorites are the fried shrimp po'boy, turtle soup, and veal piccata.
