Hotel Peter and Paul is the result of a four-year restoration of the former Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic church and school. The guest rooms borrow aesthetic influences from Europe, including Sweden, Italy and France. Furnishings fall into two categories: pieces designed and constructed locally by regional artisans, or antiquities collected from the great antique fairs of Europe and several of New Orleans' finest estates. All rooms include flat-screen televisions, complimentary wifi, custom Italian linens, air conditioning and toiletries made exclusively for Hotel Peter and Paul. The School House rooms feature colors from 14th-18th century religious paintings. Petites have full or queen beds and private bathrooms with hand-painted striped tile showers. Classics have queen or king beds and private bathrooms with hand-painted striped tile showers. Some School House Classic rooms have accessibility features. Grande Lofts have private bathrooms with hand-painted striped tile showers. The Bunk has two twin beds, a private bathroom with hand-painted striped tile showers and can be rented with an adjoining School House Classic. Two of Queens sleeps up to four guests in two queen beds and have private bathrooms with hand-painted striped tile showers. The four Rectory Classic Rooms have canopied queen beds and marble bathrooms. The Rectory Suite features a king bed, floor-to-ceiling windows and a custom limestone bathtub. The five Convent Classic rooms have canopied queen or king beds and serene bathrooms.
