The White Room is furnished with two creamy white antique iron beds from a local orphanage and a large armoire painted in creams and pale celadon, housing cable TV, closet space, pillows, shelving, a hairdryer, an iron, and a makeup mirror. The room has a private bath with a shower tub, individual central heat and air, a ceiling fan, and wireless internet and opens onto a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Coffee makers, bottled water, soft drinks, and robes are provided. Each Creole House suite has two bedrooms, a bath, a kitchen, and a living room. Historical Details
Terrell House is a grand three-story Italianate stucco-over-brick mansion built in 1857 for Richard Terrell, a wealthy cotton broker originally from Natchez, Mississippi. Many original architectural elements remain in the house.
